Cleaning

Totally worn out doing yard work today. Started by cleaning up junk or objects of rusty art that were sitting on the ground. Got them up on a shelf on the deck so I can see them and figure out where I want them when everything is clean, weeded and planted.

Put large pots where I want them, did some more brick work around the fire pit and set the chairs nicely. Cannot wait for warm weekend weather so we can all go out, enjoy some mead and the star light.

Brendan came out and helped me by cleaning up the goat area to further get ready for baby goat birth here soon. He also took care of other critter needs like water, minerals, trash pick up and a good scratch behind ears. We then moved on to the chicken duck coop and started cleaning that out. Did the deep litter method for the winter and it served them well in staying warm, just lots of work for us on the cleaning end digging out a foot of bedding. We have the other half to do tomorrow. Called it quits at 4 pm when the garden gnomes became bored with our cleaning. Back at it again tomorrow, must be finished. Then back to the garden planting and cleaning up of still more clutter.
